Orbiscope does not support boolean operators such as AND, OR, +, or - but let you construct a search into detail field such as "all words " , "any of theses words". This is valid only for web category.

Engine : All serch engine of the category

Sites : Sites you have added into the category

Engine + site : both in the same search

Intra page search : Search engine you have added from your favorites sites. By choosing that, you make these active in the search.

Suggestion: Use the vocabulary of a category to make a additional search by adding words into a seconde search. This will not replace words in your actual search, it will enhence the scope.
