Results

Different types of results are visible in the upper tabs of the search window.

  • Engines: Shows the results of your search.
  • Agent's suggestions: Shows the results found by the agent, that added words to your search.
    Those words, found by the agent, are in close relation with the subject of your search and are used to make your search more precise.

    Those results are shown only if you have chosen to do an advanced search and checked the option "Agent's Suggestions". Uncheck this option if you do not wish to see the suggestions.

  • Sub-categories: Shows the results from your sub-categories. Use this function to make more specialised search. An exemple migth be a "Music" category having a sub category "Artist" and an other one named "CD"; when Music is used, both sub-categories are used and results appear separately.

    This option slows down your search, use it wisely.

    To avoid those results, uncheck the option "Use my sub-categories" in the advanced search panel.
  • Bad (undesirable) results : Those are the results that were avoided by the category because
  1. They are doublets;
  2. You have chosen to "Avoid commercial pages" or "Avoid personal pages";
  3. You have chosen "University sites only";
  4. You have chosen "Avoid already seen pages" in the options.
